Q. We have an employee who will need to travel and be on-site at a location for 2-3 months long for business purposes. We would prefer to sign a lease for the duration of the stay rather than having the employee stay in a hotel.Is there any concern that this may be considered a fringe benefit which should be taxable and claimed as income on his W-2?
